2001-02-25 - 1:40pm So as soon as my jeans come out of the dryer, I am leaving the house as quickly as I can. It's in the 50's and sunny, not a cloud in the sky - a welcome change from the usual 20 degrees and overcast we usually get this time of year in this neck of the woods. We are, after all, quickly approaching March - the month when all just goes to hell in Rochester. Ten years ago, on March 3, we had a HUGE ice storm that essentially paralyzed the entire city. We didn't have power for eight days. Then, two years ago, we got something like 30" of snow in a day, which kind of shut down everything as well. So I am just sitting here, patiently awaiting the buzz of the dryer.
