So I have now changed a poop-laden diaper. And not only was it a poop-laden diaper, it was a HEAVY poop-laden diaper. Go me.
The sis and I took the baby for a walk yesterday, though the main green of the town where she lives. Very green, very quaint (though there were some Goths around the edges). I went into one little gift shop and found a very cool Lego pen, with little pieces you can assemble to create messages. I, of course, now brandish a pen that says "Bite me!"
We also went to Kohl's, which is a pretty nice low-price department store (sis described it as a "higher end Marshall's", which is true, and I got (amongst other things) a new watch to replace the Timex that broke on me (the Indiglo button jammed a month after I bought it). This one is also a Timex, but it's a variety called "Carriage", which I hadn't heard of before. Silver expand-o band that doesn't look geeky, and kind of a pearly purple-pink face. Very nice.
