So I left for work this morning and there was a large, 76 year old tree in front of our house.
I get home from work and it is gone.
"GaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaah!" I think would best describe my reaction.
We knew they were going to do it; the Town had come by last year and announced that it was rotting (one of the big main branches had broken off and never sealed correctly, so rainwater collected inside it), and they said they would take it down after the first of the year, but never got more specific than that.
So now we mourn the loss of Tree. Snif.
