So I've seen the Behind The Music on The Monkees twice now, and I have to say I didn't like it much. The whole theme of it seemed to be "everything was going just fine and ducky, Don Kirschner was the greatest thing since sliced bread, until that Mike Nesmith came along and ruined everything, and then he just took off and didn't join the first reunion tour and bailed on the second. Dickhead."
This, of course, goes against everything I believe, being the huge Mike Nesmith fan that I am. (I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate Davy. Hated him then, hate him now. Hate hate hate hate hate.)
Micky just looks puffy and old. Peter looks okay. Mike looks nothing like he did before. I wonder what happened to his hat.
