So I have had this bump on my left hand for a while. Draw a line from your index finger to your wrist, and where it is parallel to you thumb, that's where it is.
It would hurt every once in a while, but only for maybe a day at the most.
Then it started hurting on Friday and hasn't stopped.
I went to the doctor, who unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) doesn't sugar-coat things. He said "it's a ganglion cyst; you will most likely need surgery."
Whee.
I will keep y'all posted.
