So my birthday (yesterday, in case you were wondering) went well. Got lots of cool loot (I think my best gift was The Manchurian Candidate on DVD), and now I'm 27. Yeek.
I'm watching the Say What? Karaoke Finals on MTV. Sigh. I'm as old as Carson Daly and I still feel ancient.
Went to the library this afternoon and got "Joe DiMaggio: The Hero's Life", which kind of surprised me, as I am usually not a fan of biographies and what I know about Joe DiMaggio could fit on the head of a pin. I think it's because I read "Blonde" by Joyce Carol Oates and kind of got on a mini Marilyn Monroe kick, which by default would include her second husband. It's a good read, so far.
Beyond that, not much is new. Slow month, I guess.
