So yeah, two entries in one day. Don't try to understand me; it won't work.
Have I mentioned lately how much I heart my iBook, Miffy III? I can sit in comfiness in the recliner, blanket on my legs, WPOP orange soda next to me and just type and type and type and surf until the battery runs out.
Speaking of Miffy, I found a "Miffy's Baby Book" at Borders a few weeks ago. Of course, I immediately bought it. I like it because it's very British - there are places for pictures of "Mummy and Daddy" and "pictures on holiday" and "favourite toys".
Now, when I was growing up, I of course had many Miffy books, and I was quite pleased to see them in the bookstores again. But I think they've changed. The text in them never used to rhyme, did it? For some reason I can't find my old books (and I am trying to avoid going up into the attic for the next few weeks) but the new books rhyme. I think I would have not been as happy with them, growing up, if they rhymed. Everything written for children doesn't have to rhyme.
